Dust mites are microscopic organisms invisible to the naked eye that can be found in our homes. They particularly thrive in environments that provide favorable conditions and may be present in large numbers in mattresses, bedding, pillows, carpets, and upholstered furniture.

Allergic reactions in sensitive individuals are primarily triggered by allergens found in dust mite waste and remains. Higher levels of dust mites and associated allergens in the home may increase exposure. Reducing their concentration can therefore be an important part of managing dust mite allergens.

How Does MITELESS® Home Work?

While operating, MITELESS® Home emits ultrasonic pulses. The technology is designed so that its use does not disturb people or pets.

The device covers an area of approximately 30 m². Ultrasound does not travel through walls, so it should be used in the room where you spend the most time, such as the bedroom or living room. Continuous operation is recommended.

Regular cleaning is also an important part of reducing dust mite allergens. Vacuum frequently and regularly wash bedding and other household textiles.

Technology Evaluated in Research

The effectiveness of MITELESS® was examined by the Laboratory of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Camerino in Italy.

During the research, dust mite concentrations in household dust samples were monitored with activated and non-activated devices. A significant reduction was measured when the active MITELESS® device was used, while no significant change was observed in the control sample during the study period.
