Dust Mite Allergies Can Affect Our Pets Too

Dust mite allergy is often considered primarily a human concern, but it can also affect dogs and cats, causing symptoms such as itching, scratching, licking, and skin inflammation.

During the preliminary screening for our canine study, 92% of 78 dogs affected by environmental allergies tested positive for dust mite allergy. This highlights the important role dust mites may play in pets with allergic conditions.

Clinical Research Involving Dogs and Cats

The use of Tickless® Home was evaluated in 10-week, veterinary-led clinical studies involving dogs and cats with dust mite allergies.

Among the dogs, 92% showed an improvement in veterinarian-assessed skin symptoms after four weeks, and scratching was also reduced in 92% of the animals.

In the feline study, 92% of the cats showed an improvement in veterinarian-assessed allergic skin symptoms. Among cats under ten years of age, 89% showed a reduction in scratching and licking.
